Visits….
Our visit to Daddy tonight was a little scary at first (nurses freak 'B' out!) but once the boys saw the HUGE fish tank with Nemo and Dori in it they settled right in and were able to play with Daddy. Leaving Daddy there was a whole different story for Daddy and the boys
Travis has a big day ahead tomorrow with assessments and such....he is not quite ready for visitors. I know several of you are wanting to come and cheer him up but adjusting to his new surroundings is going to take some time. He has been reading your comments and it is very uplifting and the jokes put a smile on his face ...and that is GREAT to see
so please don't stop the positive Mo-Jo, Vibes and/or Prayers
I will let you know as soon as he lets me know he is ready to see all of you
Thanks so very much for understanding!
Be Well,
Karla

Hey Travis…still thinking about you. Man your ears should be burning with all of this. I know your used to being the center of attention but it is usually on the ball field that I see it.
Your boys are going to start thinking that they can play sick and have everyone at their beckon call. Maybe they have already figured that out. Glad you are back in Lincoln … give those boys a big hug!

Happy Tuesday, Travis. Your friends at work called me today and let me know that you are making good progress, and where I could find your blog. My wife and I (along with several other Guardian folks) have been praying for you, your doctor and your strong recovery. I look forward to resuming our weekly chats … when you’re fully recovered and back in the saddle. I’m so glad to see that you’re making progress. And what a strong family you have …

Travis and Karla,
I just read once again that patience is a virtue, and I guess we ALL have to be patient, though considering how hard it is for me, I can only imagine how hard it is for all of you, including T & B!! I drive right by Madonna so will think of you each time until we receive Karla’s go-ahead for visiting. In the meantime, I know they will work very dilligently with you, Trav, and keep you busy. Keep the patience going as best as possible. Soon….homeward bound!
Will look forward to visiting,
Lots of love,
Ilene

It’s great to hear you’re back in Lincoln. I’m sure the boys are as anxious as both of you for things to settle down. Good luck today. We’re still praying for you.

Yay, Travis! So glad you are back in Lincoln. It must be so hard not to be home yet with Karla and the boys, but it sounds like it’s going to happen soon enough. So glad you are walking around, eating, smiling, and talking. Those four things make for a pretty good day, I think!
